What if the clean-air conversation moved from awareness to ownership? That was the idea behind Next Gen Bharat 2026 – A Clean Air Conference, where Morning Sprout Consulting brought industry, academia and young India together to explore practical pathways towards cleaner air and a more sustainable Viksit Bharat.

Leaders from 9 sectors including pharma, hospitality, energy, logistics, manufacturing, politics, startups and education came together to bat for collective action.

Co-hosted with Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College, University of Delhi, the conference brought diverse voices from energy, pharma, hospitality, logistics, manufacturing, startups and education to one platform. The focus was not simply on the challenge, but on solutions, innovation, behaviour change and collective responsibility.

The industry dialogue demonstrated the breadth of action possible. Saikat Chakraborrty, Chief Manager, GAIL (India) Limited, highlighted a diversified energy ecosystem spanning natural gas, biogas, renewables and green hydrogen. Rahul Prabhakar, Head of Technical Services, ITC Hotels, shared how electrification, technology and energy efficiency can support cleaner hospitality operations.

The conversation moved across sectors—with Dhematra Express Logistics discussing technology-led fleet optimisation, Ikaya Earth on emissions reduction and carbon removal, MeVachi Solutions on indoor air quality, and GreenQurve on the power of youth and everyday choices.

With Prof. Balaram Pani, Dean of Colleges, University of Delhi, Prateek Dubey, Global CHRO, Mankind Pharma, senior university principals and industry leaders participating, the conference created a bridge between institutional thinking, business action and young India’s aspirations.
